TWICKENHAM Festival kicked off last weekend with a carnival parade through the town centre.
The 'friends of the world' themed carnival left York House at noon
and made its way towards Orleans House, which had been transformed into a carnival village,
where the celebrations continued into the evening.
Twickenham's town centre manager Liz Rice said: "It was fantastic we were lucky to have lovely weather."
"We've still got plenty to come this week. On Friday until Sunday we've got an Italian market in Church Street selling food, fabrics and jewellery.
