CYCLING Poulter's not broken

Damien Poulter showed he is recovering well from a broken leg with an impressive showing in Saturday's West London Cycling Association 10 Mile Time Trial.

The Hounslow & District Wheelers cyclist, who was struck down with the injury earlier this year in a non-cycling accident, finished 14th out of 53 in 24:02 mins.

Hounslow's highest finisher was Rob Gilmour, whose time of 22:59 was enough for fourth overall, and second in the veterans' category.
