MacDonald deal edges closer

Brentford FC are reportedly close to landing Southend United striker Charlie MacDonald for £50,000.

The Bees have had an offer excepted by the Shrimpers for the 27-year-old, but boss Andy Scott and MacDonald are trying to thrash out personal terms.

MacDonald would be the eight summer signing to arrive at Griffin Park if the deal goes through.
