BOSS Neal Ardley blasted his side's defending as AFC Wimbledon went down 3-1 at Morecambe this afternoon.
Just four day after shipping four goals at home to Southend, the Dons' defending was comical at times as Kevin Ellison helped himself to a hat-trick.
And Ardley admitted it leaves a lot of work to do on the training ground before Sunday's FA Cup grudge game at MK Dons, who put five goals past Colchester on the same day.
He said: “We gave two ludicrous goals away, there's no other words for it really. What was more disappointing was we had spent every second we could working on our defending since the Southend game.
“We had a 20 minute spell in the second half when we were on top and looked like we would get something out of the game, but we have to do that from the start of the game. Everything we tried to do just did not come off.
“The third goal we conceded was comical, and these mistakes are really costing us at the moment. The whole team needs to do their bit.”
