BYRON Harrison, Jim Fenlon and Steven Gregory are all fitness doubts as AFC Wimbledon face an injury crisis ahead of this weekend's trip to Morecambe.
On-loan Bournemouth midfielder Gregory was ruledo ut of last night's defeat to Southend while Harrison and Fenlon could not complete 90 minutes due to back problems.
Dons boss Neal Ardley has been left scraping the barrell to name a squad of 18 in recent weeks and says the club will have to wait until Thursday before making a decision on team selection.
“Byron was struggling before the game,” Ardley said in the wake of his side's 4-0 loss to Southend on Tuesday night.
“He said he felt good enough to play but was carrying a slight back problem from Saturday. At half-time it had stiffened up and he couldn't move so we took him off. Without Steven Gregory we felt that 80 per cent Byron might have given us something but it didn't work out.
“I won't know until Thursday [if he will be available for Morecambe]. Jim [Fenlon] came off with a back injury as well. A lot of the changes we made were enforced on me.
"We have 10 on the treatment table and you look at the bench and there are young players who should not be thrown into a dogfight.”
Morecambe go into this weekend's game on the back of a heavy defeat themselves, having lost 3-0 at Northampton last night.
