TERRY Brown will make a decision on Jason Euell's AFC Wimbledon future in the next 48 hours.

The Charlton Athletic forward's loan spell at Kingsmeadow expired after last night's defeat to Northampton.

Euell has been dogged by an ankle problem during his five-week long spell at the club, but he returned to the side for the 1-0 loss at Sixfields.

The 35-year-old is still feeling the effects of the injury, and boss Brown wants to be sure Euell's fit before extending his stay at the Dons.

He said: “I was pleased with him. He's struggling with an ankle injury. We've got to look at how it is before we decide whether we're going to extend.

“He had it iced up after the game – I would've brought him off after an hour if I could've done.

“He'll probably go back to Charlton for treatment but we've got to make the decision whether we renew immediately or leave it a week or two.”
