Striker set for Dons exit

AFC Wimbledon are set to cancel the contract of striker Charles Ademeno.

The Dons misfit has made just six starts for the club, scoring once, since his switch to Kingsmeadow last summer.

Ademeno has struggled with injury, and has failed to cement a regular place in the side under Terry Brown.

The former Grimsby frontman was placed on the transfer list earlier this month and forced to train with Marcus Gayle's reserves.

And the Chronicle understands the club have now reached agreement with the 23-year-old to terminate his deal by mutual consent.
