ANDY Scott hopes to keep his loan stars at Brentford for another month in a bid to boost his squad for the festive period.

With John Bostock, Wojciech Szczesny (pictured) and Pim Balkestein's deals set to expire in the middle of this month, the Bees boss will ask their parent clubs if they can stay on at Griffin Park into the new year.

The trio gave the green light in interviews with your favourite local paper last week, and will hope their bosses are singing from the same hymn sheet.

Scott said: "We’ll try and make all the loans a bit longer in the next week or so.”

Fellow loanees Lewis Price, James Wilson and Rhys Murphy are already tied to the Bees into the new year.
