Adult channel 'sex noises' offends neighbours

Elite TV and their parent company Primetime TV, moved into the Barley Mow Centre, just off Chiswick High Road

A SEEDY adult TV channel has set up its broadcasting base in a Chiswick conservation area– reportedly to the horror of neighbours.

Elite TV and their parent company Primetime TV, moved into the Barley Mow Centre, just off Chiswick High Road in January and some of the neighbouring tenants have already moved out after suggestions they could hear "sex noises" through the walls.

Elite TV, which also has an 18+ website, can be found in the "adult" section on satellite broadcaster Sky, and features scantily clad women posing provociatively in front of the camera, waiting for viewers to phone in at a premium rate.

One of Primetime TV's owners, James McCann, said: "We are very tame, it's not adult, the most we go is topless, that is nothing more than you would see on page three.

"Our old neighbours did move out, but I think that was because they had problems with the management, however they did try to suggest it was because they could hear sex noises coming through the walls – which is rubbish."

Jamie confirmed to the Chronicle that the girls featured on the sleazy channel are in fact filmed from within the business premises located in the Turnham Green Conservation Area.

The company's website brands Elite as "Probably THE best babe channel on the planet".

Workspace Group, which owns the business centre in Barley Mow Passage, said: "Workspace Group boasts a diverse customer base reflecting the economy of the capital.

"We require our customers to operate within the law and to ensure that they do not create a nuisance for other customers or staff. We do not however make any other judgements about the nature of their business. We take complaints about any breaches of conditions set out in customers' leases very seriously."

Mark Slocombe, owner of Creation TV, which is also based in the Barley Mow Centre said he had never heard of the company but "would be amazed if they were being allowed to broadcast from [the unit]."

Website Chiswick W4 has reported that another existing tenant chose to move to alternative premises because they were "unhappy with their clients being exposed to such a business".

Barley Mow Centre is currently undergoing substantial building work which will provide an additional 1340m2 of office space for Chiswick.
