The Hayward Gallery's 40th Birthday Party – 40p entry on Friday!

The Hayward first opened its doors to the public on July 11, 1968.

To mark the 40th anniversary of the opening, entry this will be just 40p for all.

Advance booking's not possible and tickets are subject to availability, so get down early and snap up the chance to see Psycho Buildings for next to nothing

Special edition cakes, cocktails and more will also be available across the Southbank Centre site to celebrate.
